Birth of 'Touch of Fabulous'

Brandie: I always really wanted to do a daily blog but, wanted to keep it really entertaining. So as I brainstormed what I wanted to do I knew in my head there was only one other person I would want to co-blog with. My Jessica. Between the 2 of us we do enough things that people constantly ask us about, to keep the blog really fresh and ever changing.

So "Touch of Fabulous" was born :) It took us an entire day to come up with a name ... about 2000 text messages were sent back and forth, ha ha, but we both knew this one would fit our different but similar personalities.

"Touch of Fabulous" is alitte of everything we encounter in our daily lives, lives of our friends, the news, the world, or anything, Nothing we won't blog about. So thank you for visiting, come back daily and check out everything Jessica and myself are encountering.

How Brandie met Jessica ...

Brandie: I wish I knew this date off the top of my head, Jess do you?

Jess: Can't say that I do. . . Sorry

Brandie: It was Laurel View Country Club's Wedding/Event food tasting in which myself and my fiance (at the time) Brian went on our own to pick our delish meals for our June 2009 wedding.

Jess: I attended with my fiance and my parents. My parents drove all the way up from New York to finally see something for the wedding

Brandie: When we first got to LVCC we were shocked by the event in itself, there were a lot more vendors there then we thought .... and .... well .... 'older couples'.

Jess: We really kept to ourselves and didn't really socialize with anyone. We found an empty table and jumped on it! My parents were taking in the location and enjoying the food.

Brandie: As Brian and I were looking around, once we had our plates of food, to sit and discuss what we were going to choose, we noticed that all the tables were occupied by couples in about our parents age range. Mmmmm. Not what we were looking forward too. Till we spotted them....

Jess: Yup she did. . . she gave me the stiff one eye. . .LOL

Brandie: (( the 'stiff one eye' -- nice Jess )) My train of thinking was more -- Girl dark long hair, Guy with light hair ... Younger Couple -- SCORE! I turned to Brian and said " They look our age, Go!" We slipped right into the table and began our eating, and making small eye contact.

Jess: Bran don't lie. . .you turned to Brian and said look at that incredibly awesome, incredibly good looking couple. . ."WE MUST GO TALK TO THEM!"

Brandie: Yes, Jessica, it's true! Well, when the DJ started to get everyone going with singing and what not the ice was finally broken. The DJ was wearing a dog collar looking thing with a diamond studded bone on it.

Jess: Yeah. . . .he was a little strange to say the very least. But he started play that song. . .knock three times, and of course Eric and I were getting rowdie :oD

Brandie: Next thing I knew Jessica had leaning over the table asking, "Are you on the knot?" Next thing I knew, Eric had sighed said "Switch seats" Jess and I were next to eachother and basically "involved" with one another for the rest of the night!!

Jess: I knew from the moment I met her that she was a sweet genuine girl and that I just had to be friends with her :o)

Brandie: Awhh, and since then I am totally in love with her.

Jess: And yes I am totally in love with her as well!
